End Times Clock Ticks Forward
As Iran Announces Further
Nuclear Enrichment Plans

WASH—KIN—Jan 4—The end times clock leapt forward with the beginning of the New Year with Iran taking great strides toward its goal of wiping Israel off the map and destroying the “Great Satan”—a term commonly used in describing America. The rogue Islamic nation announced that it would resume further research and development efforts for its nuclear program.

Additionally, reports surfaced that Iran is able to produce “yellow cake,” an ingredient essential to making a nuclear bomb. These revelations drew swift reaction from the U.S. State Department where Spokesman Sean McCormack called on the international community to take action against Iran, setting the stage for an international showdown.

McCormack said, “Iran is trying to pursue nuclear weapons under the cover of a peaceful nuclear program. We don't think that that should be allowed to happen and I think you won't find any disagreement on the fact that Iran's obtaining a nuclear weapon would be destabilizing, destabilizing to the region and destabilizing to the world.” But any action against Iran by the United Nations Security Council or by the International Atomic Energy Agency would most likely not occur before March, according to McCormack, who left open the possibility of emergency actions if events worsened prior to the next IAEA Board of Governors meeting.

Meantime, London’s Guardian newspaper revealed excerpts from a 55-page intelligence document reporting that Iran has been successfully procuring materials from Europe and Russia needed to make a nuclear bomb. The document, compiled by British, French, German and Belgium intelligence agencies, also says the Iranians are tendering daily for components to expand their ballistic missile capabilities and extend ranges beyond Europe. The report also outlines the efforts of Syria and Pakistan in buying technology and chemicals needed for uranium enrichment and rocket production. The report also reveals Russia’s role in the escalating the Middle East arms build-up.

The entire escapade with Iran, its proliferation of military technology and support to Syria, Pakistan and other nations hostile to Israel, and the sinister role Russia plays in aiding and abetting Iran in its quest to destroy Israel seems to be moving at a faster pace with each passing day. The Ezekiel prophecy where Russia leads Iran and other nations against Israel seems eminent, although there may be many fits and starts before the actual Gog-Magog battle occurs. These are warning signs of the beginning of sorrows as pointed out by Jesus in Matthew 24:33, “So likewise ye, when you shall see all these things, know that it is near, even at the doors.” These are great opportunities to share Jesus with others.
